The current phase of IMPRS LIFE is coming to an end this year. During this time over 300 LIFE fellows completed their doctorates. Due to the great success of the IMPRS and its international and interdisciplinary concept, the Max Planck Society has decided to make the IMPRS LIFE permanent under a new name: the International Max Planck Research School on Learning, Institutions, and Future Evolution (LIFE). The new funding period begins in 2026.
