I am a doctoral student at the Center for Environmental Neuroscience at the MPIB under the supervision of Simone Kühn.
For my Master’s degree in Psychology at Freie Universität Berlin, I used a twin design to investigate the relationship between the physical environment and psychotic experiences, accounting for genetic and shared early-life influences.
Building on this, my PhD leverages longitudinal twin datasets to examine how early-life environmental exposures—such as air and noise pollution, population density, and access to green spaces—shape neurodevelopmental and psychiatric outcomes across the lifespan. To disentangle the distinct contributions of environmental and genetic factors, I aim to integrate neuroimaging, behavioural, and genetic data.
